My name is Lindsay and I ama 500 hour trained yoga teacher. I have a background in dance and fitness and when I started yoga, I thought it would be a nice easy stretch for my body as dance and strength classes were really starting to hurt my back. After my first class I found it was NOT as easy as I thought it would be, it involved so many more aspects then I thought. It became apparent quite quickly that yoga is the body, the mind and the breath working in unison with each other. I found that after classes I had a sense of peace and joy and eventually this started to integrate into my everyday life on and off the mat. Yoga has inspired me to live each moment more mindfully and fully. In my classes, I pride myself on non-judgmental teaching and encourage growth of the physical and spiritual self. I seek to help others thrive by creating a space free from obstacles, by nurturing the body, the mind and the soul. My hope is that you step off your mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

My fitness journey began in 2012, and it quickly became a passion that I knew I wanted to share with others. As the founder of Free Spirit Fitness, I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve a healthier mind, body, and spirit through a holistic approach to wellness. I hold certifications in Precision Nutrition Level 1, CanFit Pro Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Coaching, CanFit Pro Fitness Instructor Specialist, CanFit Pro Personal Training Specialist, Active Aging, and 200hr yoga teacher training. My expertise also extends to working with pre and postnatal women, allowing me to support clients through various life stages. As a mom of three, I am passionate about setting a positive example for the younger generation. I believe that true health is about more than just physical fitness—it’s about nurturing every aspect of oneself. One day in the spring of 2023 I began to meditate to help ease anxiety and depression in my life. Very soon I started receiving messages and symbols in my daily life and meditations that began to make me question all of my prior beliefs. I began studying anything related to philosophy, herbal medicines, meditation, and the astral realm. My passion for the metaphysical grew and grew and new friends came into my life to help me on my journey. One of these friends invited me to go along with her to do Akhanda yoga teaching training in Rishikesh, India. All the stars aligned and In one month of deciding to go my whole trip was paid for from people I knew. I took this as a sign it was really meant to be even though I was terrified. This trip was one that changed my life forever. I came back to Canada not knowing what do to with my life. I had experienced such community, and understanding, and had to figure out how to create that here for myself. After a couple months I gained the courage to start teaching and I found the greatest joy in my life. Ever since then I have been growing my knowledge of yoga and sharing it with whoever wants to hear it. Im so grateful to my Guru, Yogrishi Vishvektu and the many saints and friends who helped me get on to this path. Hari Om Tat Sat!

Hi, I’m Bobbie-Lee. My yoga journey began over 22 years ago when I first experienced the overwhelming stress of adulthood. I took my first class with the intention of physical health and quickly experienced the mental and emotional benefits. Yoga became my safe place and a guiding light through uncertainty. In 2018, I travelled to Thailand to learn to become a guide to support others through their yoga journey. Since yoga has given me so much, it only seemed right to give back to yoga. Hi My name is Nicole. I’ve been practicing Massage Therapy since 2017, I graduated from a 3000-hour program at Makami College in 2018. Since then I have acquired different modalities such as becoming a Reiki Master, Aromatherapist, and Yoga Instructor. I’m constantly learning new techniques to add to each massage to customize the massage just for you. Grounded Wellness is a place for healing the mind, body, and spirit… My goal is to make the client feel great physically and spiritually through massage and knowledge.
